150 North Riverside (The Tuning Fork)
This building is the newest gem of Chicago’s downtown. Its location on the west bank of the river demands its unusual shape – the building’s base only occupies about a third of the lot and expands upward, as it is perched above active train tracks. In a remarkable feat of engineering, this 53-story office highrise utilizes several thousand gallons of water in tanks at the top that shift with the blowing of the wind.
It literally just finished opening (not even on Google Maps or street view yet), as one of the eye-catching glass hulks of “Wolf Point,” the confluence of the rivers downtown. Among these are River Point (also on workshop) and the Wolf Point condo complex which is currently under construction. This is some of the utmost luxurious (and pricey) office and living space in the city, and thereby the country, I suspect.

Featuring the glorious semi-transparent “rotors shader” (thanks Ronyx69) for the glass lobby at the building’s rear. My first experiment with that shader and with sub-buildings, so obviously not perfect but getting there. Also, this building has irregular floor heights, which the game’s floor settings can’t handle, but them’s the breaks.
Thumbs up if you like it!
