1970 Dodge Challenger
The 1970 Challenger was a member of the first generation of Challengers from Chrysler/Dodge. It was built using the Chrysler E Platform along with sharing major components of the Plymouth Barracuda according to Challenger wiki page. The Challenger of that year was introduced in varied customization abilities to compete against cars in the same market like the Chevrolet Camaro, and the Ford Mustang.
The 1970 Challenger is cited as being a “late response to the ponycar wave the Ford Mustang had started.” 76,935 Challengers were produced in 1970. It was clearly a popular model which helped propel the model for 3 generations to date.
The Dodge Challenger has made several appearances in the film industry; from Vanishing Point to Dragon Ball.
