Classic American Sedan As a Police Interceptor

The last generation impala is almost a rarity among police force these days. Despite being overshadowed by the new Explorers, Tahoes, and Chargers, a few of them still found their way into public service. NYPD uses a few of these, though they are on their way out, like the Crown Victoria.

All NYPD vehicles carry no flares. Lights DO flash during emergency responses, as explained in the second photo. However, the in game flares do not work well with rotating lights, so I buried the flares deep into the ground. This is NOT a bug.

Lightbar derived from False Lucidity’s 1980 Police Car. However, texture was done by meticulously stitching together images to lend realism to the non translucent lightbar. Vehicle base derived from LAPD Impala. Redone mapping to allow for higher definition double sided textures. NYPD Textures based from real life photos.
