Ford’s Latest Police Interceptor Sedan

Ford’s Police Sedan is no longer a top choice for many departments, but the NYPD has a few in service. Crusing along 168th Street, you can often find one next to the newer Ford Fusion (which is privately available, public release late November).

All NYPD vehicles carry no flares. Lights DO flash during emergency responses, as explained in the second photo. However, the in game flares do not work well with rotating lights, so I buried the flares deep into the ground. This is NOT a bug.

Lightbar derived from False Lucidity’s 1980 Police Car. However, texture was done by meticulously stitching together images to lend realism to the non translucent lightbar. Vehicle base derived from CHP Taurus. Redone mapping to allow for higher definition double sided textures. NYPD Textures based from real life photos.
