Completed in 2009, at 82 stories, Aqua is the 10th tallest building in Chicago, Illinois. Studio Gang architects transformed an otherwise bland glass box into an architectural gem through the design of an undulating pattern of balconies. From an angle, the building appears as a flow of water, hence its name being “Aqua”.

This is the 1:1.5 Scale version of this building, so while it is exceptionally tall in its own right, it is not physically accurate. If you’re in the mood for something even bigger, check out my 1:1 Scale version!
