Medium Parking Garage / Multi-storey Car Park
A streamlined prefab parking structure for all modern cities. This one has a 12×4 footprint which makes it more easy to use than the large one I published before. There’s entrances on three sides as well as a pedestrian path running through the elevator area.
This structure looks fine on its own, but will look better when you hook a bunch of them up together. They will align along a straight line, in T-formation or side-by-side. Feel free to change or add your own props.
— Update 3-9: Check out the latest Small Parking Garage which can connect to this one. ?
The exterior walls and pillars have red, blue, black & white lines. If you want to maintain the clean look of the original (overwritten), you’ll want to go into the asset editor and change the materials to a neutral grey. Disabling the color mask entirely will result in white paint.
— Improvements and updates (vs Large Parking Garage) —
+ Textures more closely based on vanilla roads
+ Increased parked car density
+ Optimized tourism values
+ Increased land value boost in a smaller radius (walking distance)

— PRO TIP —
Place the structure in an area with lots of cars already parked along the side of the road. Upgrade those roads to ones with trees or grass. Cars will now teleport to the garage. You’ll find a lot of them actually stay there forever, even if you upgrade back. Guess cims run out of gas too. ?
— QUICK NOTES —
A lot of people seem unaware of how parking works in this game. Parking lots DO NOT generate cars or traffic by themselves. Generally speaking, car parks work best in high traffic areas like neighbourhoods with lots of dense residential buildings or near major transport hubs. While this structure will attract some tourists, there does need to be an actual demand for parking spots. Cims will walk about 100-150 meters to reach their destination, otherwise they will just drive there directly. So if you place this in the middle of nowhere, please don’t expect it to fill up.
