24×24 8-line bus stop
What is it for?
– It is a 8-line bus stop for any district (R/C/I).
– The concept is to allow cims to travel to this bus stop by metro, then travel by bus within a district.
Why should I use that?
– More efficient public transport: let’s take a city with 30,000 population as an example. If you try place metro stations to cover all the R, C and I district, you will find that the budget of metro is very expensive. If you place 30 metro station inside the city, It costs you 30x$240 = $7,200, which is huge.
You can place one of 24×24 4-line bus stop in R district(divided as R1, R2, R3 & C1 zone), and one in I district. After that, you can build two metro stations in each of the bus stop. The total cost would be 2x$240 + $750 (bus company) = $ 1,230, which is more affordable.
If cims wants to:
a) travel from home to I: cims take bus to bus station in R, metro from R to I, and then bus within I
b) travel from home to c: cims take bus ti bus station in R, and take another bus in the same bus station
Soon you will even find that the public transopt is making postive cash flow beoz you “force” cims to use metro!
– It is 24×24 prefect square, which is easy to be used.
How to use it?
– First, build a straight road (single/four/six is okay).
– Choose road>intersection>24×24 4-line bus stop, which is a C-shape design.
– Match the two-C points to straight road.
– Biuld bus company (6×6) and metro station (2×2) inside the C.
– Finally connect to another metro station, and plan route for metro and bus
What if 4-line is not enough for my city?
– You can place another 24×24 4-line bus stop on the opposite side, which increase the bus line to 8.
Is there any decoration I can add on?
– 3×4 park specially for this bus stop:
