Airport Line Pack
This is a pack of airport line props. They are actual game geometry and NOT decals, this allows for better game performance, and for them to all share the same texture.
For performance, the lines are all either 2 or 4 Tris for both their regular and LOD model. They all use the same 512×512 diffuse texture (no others), and a 128×128 LOD diffuse.
The new lines (hold, holdshort, non-movement) share a 256×256 texture and a 64×64 LOD texture.

I recommend using the prop-line-tool, move it, and precision prop placement mods.
Since these are actualy polygons, and not decals, care must be taken in terms of overlapping lines… you can remove glitching artifacts by raising or lowering overlapping lines, thus creating a layering effect.
Since these are props and not decals, any decal applied over them will not show on the props themsevles.
I would recommend using the 12m pieces for long straight sections (since it’s better to render 1 thing as opposed to 6), and the 2m sections for curves.
For moderate curves, I have found that a PLT spacing of 1.9m works well for the lines, and 2.9m for the hold-short approach. For tigher curves with the hold-short approach, 2.7m tends to work well, however, you will have to alternate the height of the props after the fact.
If anyone would like to work on turning these into decals instead of props, please let me know. The caveate is that the texture is an atlas for multiple lines, so the decal would have to use non 0/1 UV coordinates (I am not sure if that can be done).
