Support for different trailers
With AVE you are now able to create trains with different trailers/back engines or double articulated buses. Read this guide how you do it.
Here you find a list of vehicles created with AVE using the different trailer feature.
You can change the following variables:
m_acceleration – Modifier for acceleration. Higher value means faster accelaration.
m_braking – Modifier for braking. Higher values means better brakes.
m_dampers – Editing may reduce swaying.
m_springs – Editing may reduce swaying.
m_turning – Modifier for cornering. Higher value means higher corner speed.
m_leanMultiplier – Tilts the model while turning. 0 means no tilt.
m_nodMultiplier – Tilts the model while accelerating or braking. 0 means no tilt.
You can add or remove lights with it. Use the buttons or the input fields to positioning the lights.
Lights by vehicle type:
– Aircraft: 6 lights, #1 red (for left side), #2 green (for right side), #3 white (for the back), #4 + #5 flashing white (for right and left) #6 unsure.
– Ship: 4 lights, #1 red (for left side), #2 green (for right side), #3 + #4 white (for the back and top)
– Most other vehicles have 2 lights: #1 + #2 white front headlight. (police has 4 and ambulance/firetruck have 6, unsure what purpose)
– Bicycle: 1 light, #1 front headlight
– Trucks: 4 lights, all front headlights
