Big Triple Block
Easily plop a road grid for a modular neighborhood.
Three 8×24 blocks with 2-way 2-lanes around them feeding into 4-lane collector roads, which lead to the 6-lane throughway. The 3 main blocks are connected by pedestrian paths.
Can take a fair amount of traffic as long as you make sure that the areas where people need to go from here are in the direction of the throughways. If half your city needs to go through the smaller streets, that won’t work, of course.
I like to put parks and other bigger utilities like high schools, cemetaries, hospitals etc in the corners.
