Bridgeton
This map is the first map I’ve ever posted on the workshop. As the map title suggests, this map is bridge focused as I was experimenting with bridge assets mainly while working on it. I hope the asset requirement list isnt daunting as I didnt realise I was using so many varieties of tree assets when making it but each of these trees are definitely worth having.
PLEASE USE THE CLARITY LUT and OWL’S MEDITERRANEAN ALTERNATIVE theme in the requirements as I believe that map looks really droll without it.
I was making this map before The most recent dlc was released so most of the highways use network extensions 2 roads instead of ones from the most recent update.
Im also sorry to say that I cannot get Network Skins to work on my current computer and thus I cannot remove some pesky clipping lampposts throughout the map.
The Goal of this map is to provide a semi-realistic West Coast of America feel with redwoods and large granite cliffs. Call it a weird hybrid of Big Sur, Oregon, and the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The most prominent features are 3 rivers, a large lake, an extensive beachline, a large granite rockface modeled after some from Yosemite, a couple rocky buttes and some truly beautiful bridges as well as a Double Decker bridge partially inspired by the Fremont Bridge in Portland.
Please report any errors you may find aside from lamposts (seriously I cant fix that) and any suggestions as I am very motivated to work on more maps in the future.
I’d like to thank BonBonB for inspiring me to get back into mapmaking for Cities Skylines
