Class 172 (London Midland) 2 Car
The Class 172 is a British diesel multiple-unit (DMU) built by Bombardier Transportation at the Derby factory for use on inner-suburban passenger services in the cities of London and Birmingham for London Overground, Chiltern Railways and London Midland.
London Midland is a train operating company in England owned by Govia operating the West Midlands franchise.
London Midland operate local services within the West Midlands county and surrounding areas through their ‘City’ sub-brand. They also operate long distance and commuter services on the West Coast Main Line through the ‘Express’ sub-brand from London Euston to and from the West Midlands as well as destinations in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
I have done the carriage formation as a 2 Car with no pantograph to resemble the Class 172 as closely as possible which is the same formation as the Class 172 which London Midland actually use.
