Copperhead Canyon (Map)
Copperhead Canyon is a map based on the popular Arrowhead Valley Map Theme by Flux. It features large, rolling plains of desert, steep canyon walls and a central river. In one of the corners of the map a waterfall provides the perfect spot for a dam, and by one of the edges ship connections are available. A central highway runs straight across the landscape and several train connections are available. Map elevations have deliberately been modeled in tiers, ensuring large areas of completely flat terrain suitable for building, but the transition between those tiers is smooth and seamless.
As far as resources go, oil is the name of the game and is found throughout the map. There are also som minor ore deposits and even a small farmable area near the waterfall. Vegitation exists, but not in large enough quantities to allow for forestry industry. Throughout the map, several off-shoot creeks to the main river act as ponds of mostly still water, leading to interesting possibilities for clustered waste water, but the main river still features a decent current.
Most of the trees used in the map are workshop items, so I recommend subscribing to the Copperhead Canyon Collection where all the trees can be found, alongside the Arrowhead Valley Theme and LUT. Please note that I am NOT the creator of that superb theme, I am merely using it as a basis for my map.
