Douglas C47 Rosinenbomber
I’m building Berlin 1:1 and this is my first contribution to the Steam Workshop. You can check out the build progress in my Steam screenshots, or on my twitter.
The USAF 45-0951 Douglas C-47 “Rosinenbomber” sits atop the Deutsches Technikmuseum in Berlin, Germany. The plane partcipated in the Berlin airlift in 1948, bringing food, supplies, and sometimes treats (raisins, hence the nickname, chocolate, or toys that would drop by miniature parachute), to bust the Russian ground transportation blockade of West Berlin.
