Europe: Santoña y las Marismas. Very level areas and 75% playable
Real location with a lot of changes to make it optimized for the game:
– 75% playable and vast majority is at a strictly level 80 height. Despite this it is not boring at all to look at.
– Tons of resources
– Very fast water flow in start areas despite low ground level (no dam is possible here)
– Lots of islands throughout the winding “marismas” and interesting places to put city and towns.
– Beaches of Laredo, Berria, and another I created
– Laredo’s land and its beach extended into the sea to provide more playing space
– Very high overlook point with a bit of leveled area and winding ramp for 2 lane or dirt road for access to the top. In real life, this mountain has lighthouses and a cool fortification, and is quite the climb!!
Bridge and tunnel will be used a lot here!
Welome to España Verde, “Green Spain”. Beautiful Santoña, Laredo and surrounding villages in Cantabria, Spain.. an autonomous region that, with Galicia and Asturias, are often referred to as Celtic Spain.

Many thanks to Giggily for introducing me to Wilbur, a powerful little program that simulates all sort of geological processes (like erosion). It helped make this map!
