Goderich Town Centre
Goderich, named for then British Prime Minister Frederick John Robinson, 1st Viscount of Goderich, was designed by Scottish novelist and urban developer John Galt and 1812 surgeon and war hero William “Tiger” Dunlop.
Named the “Prettiest town in Canada” by Queen Elizabeth II, Goderich sits on Lake Huron, and is home to the Sifto Salt Mine running under the lake.
The actual town centre has the courthouse located in the middle of an Oak tree park. This model allows for large monuments or parks placed at the center. Works and a single block city (Residential at center, services and comercial outside, ringed by industry) or as an attractive town square.
