Grand Tropic Island Peninsula (fully connected, ample shipping access, bounitful resources, functional yet realistic)
Theme: A grand tropical Island attached to a group of Island peninsula.
Water:
A dead volcano houses the central reservoir; falls and rivers feed the water to three distinct deltas.
Resources:
A lush volcanic fertile valley awaits a bountiful harvest, specifically the East Central Valley — whose consumable exports, when exploited, will be lucrative indeed. Palms lay in the lowlands, dense and ripe for the picking — more than enough for industry, state forests and city parks. Temperate trees reside in the higher elevations. Underneath the surface, ample stores of black gold line the southern coast. On the North Islands, respectable oil reserves are within reach upon the start of the simulation. Minerals are abound and shallowly harbored in the rocky terrain, especially on the North East Ridge.
Infrastructure:
Four plane, ship, highway and rail connections each – and plenty of access to ship routes
wherever you see fit. Planes cross the skies, looking forward to landing at that airport in the not too distant future.
Notes:
The Island fits perfectly within the confines of the 25 established plots – minimal exposure to land outside the development zone — blissfully isolated — A true map for the City State Builders
Enjoy this one, Builders. I had a blast creating it.
