International Trade Center
Berlin’s “Internationales Handelszentrum” (IHZ) was erected in 1978. At 93,5 meters, it is the only relatively tall building between Potsdamer Platz in the West, and the Fernsehturm (TV Tower) in the East. This boxy, reflective tower, sits right next to Friedrichstrasse S-Bahnhof and is essential to the Berlin skyline. Originaly built for international trade representatives of the German Democratic Republic, today it has 135 tenants from over 15 different nations.

This is my first building, made completely by hand with love and care. It features:
- true-to-life measurements and colors
- a detailed entrance porch with glass doors and two large planters
- a combination of fully reflective and partially reflective windows and panels
- correct spacing of the 25 floors in the specular map
- a subtle but detailed normal (bump) map
- an illumination map with 4 night light patterns
- many decorative light props, but empty planters to decorate w foliage & flags as you wish
- a hand-crafted low-poly LOD model detailed and mapped to match the original
