Joak’s Int’l Airport (Rail)
This is a modified version of Joak’s International Airport. It has an underground railway station instead of a metro station.
The interconnecting taxi-ways between the gates have also been removed, so you can place them in-game and choose the direction based on your needs yourself.
The surface pavement has also been removed. Use Surface Painter if you want to have a concrete texture.
All credits go to Joak for his excellent work on the original.
This is an update to the version I posted last night. If you subscribed to that, please unsuscribe from it first.
Dependencies are the original and everything it is dependent on, as well as everything’s that needed for an underground railway station. I’ll update the proper dependencies list soon. In the meantime, please refer to the the original and any one of the numerous underground railway stations as your source for dependencies.
Note: Activate the transport overlay to see the passenger exchange in action.
Note2: It actually is even possible to use both sides of the platform if the station is connected with (two-track) one-way rail. Though setting/moving/dragging the waypoint for the rail line is a bit of a hassle.
Note3: The train station will *not* be serviced by “international” trains. I can’t place the spawn points at the subground elevation. This *also* means that the trains servicing this station won’t be able to spawn at the airport. They will service it and travel to the station and exchange passengers, they just can’t spawn or despawn at the airport… I’ll fix this as soon as I know how to.
