John Hancock Tower (200 Claredon)
Currently known as 200 Claredon, this Boston Properties skyscraper is the tallest in New England by standard height measurement (thanks to PenguinMkenz for pointing it out!). It sits in Boston’s Copley Squre and formerly had the highest observation deck in the city before its closure due to security risks. John Hancock Financial Group that the tower is often remembered by expired their lease in July of 2015, leaving the sleek building without its 40 year old name. It is also known as The Hancock, Hancock Place, or 200 Claredon Street. Not to be confused with the John Hancock Centre in Chicago.
