M1 Abrams
A version of CRISGAMES’ M1 Abrams that can be placed in map editor.
I noticed that the Workshop had a severe lack of map editor specific assets so I decided to publish this to add more variety to the map editor’s limited prop selection.
I don’t own a copy of 3ds Max or know how to upload models to Skylines the conventional way, so I kind of tricked the Asset Editor into letting me make a new asset out of an existing one.
To do this, I downscaled a boulder as small as the game would allow me without crashing and placed the prop I wanted to use in Map Editor on top of it. Because of this, the model that appears prior to placing the tank in Map Editor is a small boulder.
I know this is kind of a cheap and lazy method but, it worked.
The only problem that I am aware of is the fact that the tank won’t adjust it’s position in relation to the terrain it’s placed on so it’s sort of limited to flat surfaces.
