Maximilian’s Modular Parking Lots
I was unhappy with the parking lots already on the workshop. They were either too bland or were already decorated which didn’t allow for much personalizing. And I couldn’t find any good ones with good handicap spaces. So I decided to start making my own. These were designed to be placed together but still look great if you just want to place them alone.
These have no entertainment value, no tourists, no maintenance, nor anything else.Though I suppose if I was being realistic, they would have garbage accumulation… Oh, and these are blank on purpose. Not all parking lots have the same trees, bushes, lights, etc. and so I did this to allow flexibility for your city.
I will be adding to this collection as I create more. I also decided to add all the props here so you can subscribe to them all at once. These are the only ones I plan on using going forward to limit the number of props that need to be subscribed to. Special thanks to the asset creators who created these props.
- #x# dimensions where the first number is the side connecting to the road
- H = has handicap
- S = slanted parking spaces
- F = has fire lane
- R = allows zoning*
- Mirror = mirrored version of another lot
To-do list (in no particular order):
- 2×4 S H Mirror
- 1×4 regular and slanted parking.
- 4×2 segments
* Any lot containing an “R” has to have Network Extensions 2 as the road I used comes from that so it blends in with the concrete and makes a more realistic parking lot. If you don’t want to subscribe to this mod, you won’t get a zoneable area. You can still achieve a zoneable area with vanilla roads but it won’t look as nice and you will still need some sort of road anarchy like Fine Road Anarchy so you can connect the roads embedded in the parking lots (or vanilla ones) to each other and to the rest of your road network.
