Not So Silly After Dark
By removing saturation, hue shifting towards blue, slightly lightening up darks, and overall darkening the midtones, this LUT tries to mend the oversaturation, and hyper brightness After Dark suffers from at this time. Whilst at the same time trying to retain a full colour spectrum.
The ‘left’ screenshots are with this lut, the ‘right’ are without, and are as you would see it ingame were you to set Color Correction Override to ‘None’.
I’ve made this after noticing most of the other LUTs that I used to use, didn’t work for me anymore. By either still being to bright, or having strange saturation. (Overertly colourful, despite the LUT being intended to reduce colour intensity)
I’m aware that with this LUT, sundown is WAY less impressive. I’m not exactly sure if that can be fixed within the LUT. Sunrises look very pretty though!
If after trying this LUT, you decide it’s not for you, please tell me what LUT you are using instead, so I can use it too!
N.B. All screenshots were made with Sun Shafts, and Ambient Occlusion.
