Old Synagogue
The Old Synagogue (German: Alte Synagoge) is a memorial in the city of Essen, Germany.
Built in 1913 and burned down on Nov 28th 1938, the Old Synagoge was reconstructed during the 1950s and turned into a cultural meeting center, forum and museum in the late 1980s.

For the sake of tri count and performance, I deliberately omitted or altered a number of architectural features. The textures were hand-drawn to match the game’s inherent style and therefore do not represent the actual facade in detail. For a comparison between the C:S version and the intricately decorated original, you may wish to visit (or come round to see it yourself!).
