– Subway + Bus: just delete the brownish areas to place the subway stations and use the dead ends next to it for bus stops.
– train station(s): to connect any train station(s) delete (parts of) the walkway near the 6-lane road.

You can easily place some OIGs next to each other and connect them by walkways. I would recommend NOT to connect them by roads. They should be connected well enough by highways.

See an example of 2 connected OIGs providing u with space for 236(!) 4×4 industies in the picture above….. (pic3, the one w/ the yello squares).
