Pascagoula
This is a temperate map based on height maps from Pascagoula, MS, USA, a city on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
The highways, resources etc. are not made to match those in the city of Pascagoula. Instead, the highways and resources have been layed out with gameplay in mind. There is plenty of oil and some ore. There are also big forest areas and areas for agriculture.
The map is very flat, so it’s easy to build a huge city here. The shoreline on the bottom of the map is ideal for harbours. I recommend using a 25 tile mod, so you can untilize all the different areas of the map.

I don’t know how the map looks with the default lightning, but I’m sure it still looks good.
