Penn Central MP54 (x4)
For those of us who want to relive “the bad old days” of American railroading, here’s a rake of ancient MP54s for your run-down Reagan-defunded underpatronized commuter rail system.
These cars were built in 1913, and are here represented under Penn Central, formed in 1968 from the ruins of the Pennsylvania Railroad and New York Central railroads, with the New York, New Haven, and Hartford thrown in to ensure total financial meltdown.
