Piper Lofts
Piper Lofts (formerly known as the H.D. Lee Building) was constructed in 1917 for the H.D. Lee Mercantile Company – known today as the denim and apparal manufacturer, Lee. The building began its life with production of American doughboy uniforms for the First World War, and went on to serve as office, and now loft space in the revived Kansas City Crossroads district.
