Poorly Maintained Parking Lots
All I ask is for a slab of concrete, and a car to park on it.
Three assets are in this package:
2×4 Row: for isles or to drop in-between buildings in a grid.
2×1 Straight: to fill in gaps, or in areas there a full row won’t fit.
2×1 Overlapping: used for street side parking, or to look more properly spaced when placed on the Network Extensions Plain Road.
Your pavement ground texture will show though the lines and oil stains of this grungy old parking lot, it’s sure to fit in anywhere in your city.
These parking lots are available at the beginning of the game, and can be found in the Roads menu under the Maintenance tab.
Custom models have been created for each parking lot, they have parking stops, will flatten the ground when placed, and the lines will conform to the terrain.
They will function as a park, increasing land value and happiness of nearby buildings very slightly. I have attempted to balance it so that it will prevent commerce and industry from complaining about no parks, but will not be enough to allow them to level up merely by their presence.
I wanted to use the Traffic Manager: President Edition ‘No Pocket Cars’ setting, so I needed a parking lot that was available at the start of the game and wasn’t locked away in the Parks menu. Hope you find it as useful as I have!
Keep a look out for the non-grungy parking lot set in 2 weeks!
