Schwyz, Alpine Valley is European map based on area of swiss canton of the same name east of Lucerne in alpine foothills.

This is the first map I made after returning to Cities Skylines. I felt need to create map with feeling of alpine valleys, lakes and surrounding mountains. First idea was Interlaken, but I didn’t like how it turned out and I decided to give shot to something else. After a while in google maps I picked Schwyz area and here are the results. Map lacks river flowing from south east, but I hate making rivers so you have to live without it ?

Definitely not a flat map. But you will find enough flat areas to build even quite large city surrounded by steep alpine peaks. Or maybe you want to build a couple smaller towns and mountain villages? If so, this is perfect map for you.

– Default only trees.
– 220.000 trees

I suggest deleting trees in the area you build to increase limit.

I strongly suggest using 81 Tiles mod by BloodyPenguin with this map.
