The Meadows Map
It is hard to believe that the Las Vegas valley was once green with springs and grass, but prior to the 20th century it was indeed meadows. It gets really hot in the valley and although there is plenty of water available, the sewage runoff is a bit of a challenge. You have to either use water towers or water treatment assets until you reach the lake for fresh water. The city would not exist today without Lake Mead, which is created by the Hoover Dam. The area where the dam is built is available inside 25 squares so that you can actually use it for power.
All of the screenshots are taken with the Southwest US LUT applied.
