The Pop Shoppe
The Pop Shoppe is a soft drink retailer originating in 1969 at London, Ontario, Canada. The Pop Shoppe avoided using traditional retail channels, selling its pop through franchised outlets and its own stores in refillable bottles in 24-cartons.
Within three years, the company grew within the province to over 500 stores, and entered the United States in the following three years. Eventually, Pop Shoppe was selling 30 different flavours of pop throughout Canada and 12 American states. National Hockey League veteran Eddie Shack was the predominant spokesman for the brand.

Another old-school addition to the Canada Collection. The Pop Shoppe, with its glass bottles and red, plastic cases were staples in my house growing up so I thought it was a fitting choice for a retro brand. I tried to capture a 60s vibe for the building with its high canopy and I hope I pulled it off.
I have one more classic store up my sleeve before I get back to the Harveys, Sobeys and Hudson Bays of the world so bear with me! And remember to give me your suggestions for Canadian landmarks!
Thank you and enjoy responsibly! ?
