Timboh’s Cloverstack Interchange
The interchange of choice here in Europe! It’s probably the most common interchange after the Cloverleaf interchange, and there’s a good reason for that. Many of them are upgraded cloverleafs, and the majority of new interchanges built today in Europe are of this design. In Europe, that is. Across the Atlantic Ocean, it’s stack interchanges all the way. But that’s a story for another day.
2.0 UPDATE – The cloverstack has gotten one of the biggest redesigns of all my interchanges. The original design was really compact, and while it qualified as a cloverstack, it really didn’t look like one in real life. So, I remade it from scratch. Changed the budget clover-ramps to classic clover-ramps, and smoothed out all merges, ramps and curves.
===================================================================
Advantages:
+ No weaving
+ Compact; only the roundabout and diamond interchanges are smaller
+ Low height, making it easier to plop down in rough terrain
Disadvantages:
– Moderately difficult to retro-fit
– Ramps are very short in two of the four possible directions

Cost: 33 460
Upkeep: 393 / week
In-game description:
Turbine flyovers and 270-degree ramps? The Cloverstack brings a whole new meaning to “two for the price of one”!
