8×10 Unique Building. As close as I could get this to a 1:1 and it’s – for all intents and purposes – a 1:1 building. 4 material variations will vary the darkness of this building. The building is fairly dark IRL unless light is hitting it directly and the teal and navy stained tinted glass make it a imposing building. AfterDark ready. Properties in the picture roll. Asset can be found in LVL3 Unique Buildings. See the side bar for added props that make this asset better.
Trying not to ruin specular effects and such, I decided to go with darker color variations to help with the overall look, keeping the reflections in the building but also trying to keep the colors somewhat true to the basic colors of the original. Not exact, but for the game should work out great. The darker color variations added to the asset are subtle and you shouldn’t notice any difference from my screenshots.
Alpha maps used for cutouts in order to create a specular with no artifacts. Thanks to CoolZed68 for this techniques here; I’m for from good at this yet and will practice and get better at this for future assets – so stay tuned! ?
