Toronto Style Highschool 3
The third High School in a series of schools based around ones here in Toronto. Perfect for those who want more North American style schools.
Today I bring you one of Toronto’s more unique high schools given that it breaks away from the standard design of its time but is also a great look at Toronto’s (or in this case Scarborough’s) shift in school design from the 50’s and 60’s “standard” to the 70’s and 80’s “unique character”. This school features the standard amenities of a high school with the added bonus of an indoor Swimming pool which is of no surprise considering from the 50’s up until the 80’s schools with pools was almost standard practice (especially in the 50’s and 60’s). This school even with its unique design is still relatively small compared to others like its near by counterpart which dwarfs it in size and scope (It is the next High School in the series).
