(TTC) Pioneer Village Subway Station
Pioneer Village Subway Station is a station being built in Toronto Ontario as part of the “Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension”; owned and operated by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). The station was originally named “Steeles West” however its name was changed to Pioneer Village due to its proximity to the “Black Creek Pioneer Village”. The station is set to open in 2018 with the 5 other stations on the extension and will be the first station to cross city boundaries since amalgamation.
